Job title:  Engineer - Quantity Surveyor 

Job purpose: 
 
 Managing project costs for construction projects. This includes liaising with (Site Project Managers), contractors, Site Technical offices, and purchasing Departments to gather information, prepare reports, and monitor costs. Ensure that projects are delivered within the approved budget.
 
 Job Description: 
 
 - Ensure accurate measurement and recording of quantities for cost estimation purposes.
- Regularly review and analyze project expenditures, identify cost variances, and recommend corrective actions.
- Develop & update detailed cost estimates for construction projects, considering labor, materials, equipment, and other associated expenses.
- Monitoring revenues in coordination with the various project departments.
- Regularly communicate cost status, forecasts, and cost-saving initiatives to project stakeholders.
- Establishing and maintaining professional relationships with internal and external stakeholders
- Implement cost control procedures to track and monitor project costs.
- Collaborate with the procurement team to ensure contract terms and conditions are followed.
- Collaborate with project managers, engineers, architects, and contractors to ensure accurate and comprehensive cost assessments.
- Ensure that the executed quantities do not exceed the budgeted contractual quantities, according to Contract terms
- Documenting any changes in design.
- Traveling from the office to various sites as required.
- Allocating and monitoring the work of subcontractors
- Identify cost-saving opportunities and develop strategies to optimize project costs.
- Preparing reports, and analyses according to contracts, budgets, and risk assessment.
- Advising managers and clients on improvements and new strategies
 
 Job Requirements 
 
 -Bachelor's Degree in Architecture Engineering
 - 1 – 3 Years of Experience 
- SAP User
- Excel, AutoCAD, Revit & 3D Max User
