ElGhoniemy Group is Hiring: 
 General Accountant 
 Responsibilities:
·  Monitor and track project costs, budgets, and expenditures.
· Allocate costs to specific construction projects based on job costing principles.
· Review and report project profitability, including analysis of variances.
· Maintain accurate and up-to-date financial records for the company and its projects.
· Prepare and review journal entries, general ledgers, and account reconciliations.
· Process and manage invoices, subcontractor payments, and retainages.
· Oversee collections from clients, including managing payment schedules based on contract terms.
· Perform monthly bank reconciliations and monitor cash flow to ensure sufficient funds for project needs.
· Assist in managing lines of credit and other financial instruments.
· Ensure compliance with construction industry standards, tax regulations, and government reporting requirements.
· Identify opportunities to enhance accounting systems and processes to meet the dynamic needs of construction 
projects.
Requirements:
§ 3+ years of accounting experience, preferably in the construction or related industry.
§ Strong knowledge of construction-specific financial practices, such as job costing and WIP reporting.
§ Proficiency in Microsoft Excel and accounting software.
§ Excellent analytical and organizational skills.
§ Strong communication skills to interact with project managers, contractors, and vendors.
§ Ability to handle multiple projects and meet deadlines in a fast-paced environment.
