Cost Engineer
Sheikh Zayed, Egypt
Duties:

Prepare tender and contract documents, including bills of quantities with the architect and/or the client.
Review & approve Contractor’s submittals (Q.S., Invoices, claims, etc).
Prepare cost reports and estimate at completion exercises for the Client.
Preparing estimate cost when requested by the Client.
Prepare periodical reports related to Q.S, Invoicing and budgeting.
Review and apply Contractors Contracts terms and conditions.
Review invoices.
Cost Allocations and Variation Orders.
Undertake cost analysis for repair and maintenance project work.
Assist in establishing a client’s requirements and undertake feasibility studies.
Perform risk, value management, and cost control.
Advise on a procurement strategy.
Identify, analyze and develop responses to commercial risks.
Prepare and analyze costings for tenders.
Allocate work to subcontractors.
Provide advice on contractual claims.
Analyze outcomes and write detailed progress reports.
Value completed work and arranged payments.
Requirements:

5+ Yrs experience
Architecture or Civil Engineering
Consultancy background
Good communication skills
