Modad Construction is seeking an experienced Procurement Manager to join our team. The ideal candidate will be responsible for overseeing and managing all procurement activities, ensuring the timely and cost-effective acquisition of goods and services necessary for the company’s construction projects. This role requires a strategic thinker who excels in supplier management, contract negotiation, inventory control, and process optimization.

Key Responsibilities:
·      Develop and implement procurement strategies that align with Modad Construction’s goals and project needs.
·      Continuously assess and improve procurement strategies to optimize cost, quality, and delivery timelines.
·      Establish and maintain strong relationships with suppliers and subcontractors.
·      Negotiate favourable terms and pricing with suppliers to ensure competitive advantage.
·      Monitor supplier performance to ensure adherence to quality, delivery schedules, and cost parameters.
·      Ensure compliance with legal, regulatory, and company standards in all procurement activities.
·      Identify cost-saving opportunities through effective supplier negotiations and efficient procurement practices.
·      Optimize the supply chain process to ensure smooth and timely project execution.
·      Lead and mentor the procurement team, setting clear objectives and performance standards.
 
Requirements:
 Bachelor’s degree in Business Administration, Supply Chain Management, Engineering, or a related field.
 Professional certification in procurement or supply chain management (e.g., CIPS, MCIPS) is a plus.
10+12 years of experience in procurement, supply chain management.
 
Proven track record of negotiating contracts, managing supplier relationships, and driving cost-saving initiatives.
 
Proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite (Excel, Word, PowerPoint) and procurement management software (e.g., SAP, Oracle, Ariba).
