Job Title: Electrical Design Engineer

Hesco - Engineering Consultants is a design and engineering firm located in the Kingdom of Saudi Arabia with offices in Jeddah, Riyadh, Makkah, Syria, Turkey, Egypt, Spain and Lebanon.
Key Responsibilities:
Develop electrical system designs, including power distribution, lighting, fire alarm, and low-voltage systems for commercial, industrial, and institutional buildings.
Prepare electrical design specifications, layouts, calculations, and drawings.
Ensure designs comply with all relevant codes, standards, and regulations (e.g., NEC, local codes).
Coordinate with other disciplines, including mechanical, plumbing, and civil engineers, to ensure electrical designs are fully integrated into the project.
Conduct electrical load calculations, short-circuit analysis, and protective device coordination.
Perform site assessments and inspections to gather project requirements and ensure designs meet site conditions.
Review and approve shop drawings, submittals, and construction documents.
Provide technical support during construction, troubleshooting electrical issues, and ensuring compliance with design specifications.
Stay up to date with advancements in electrical technologies, energy efficiency standards, and sustainable design practices.
Collaborate with clients and project teams to understand project goals and deliver designs that meet or exceed expectations.
Qualifications:
Bachelor’s degree in Electrical Engineering or related field.
3-5 years of experience in electrical system design for commercial or industrial projects.
Proficiency in AutoCAD, Revit, and other electrical design software.
Knowledge of relevant codes and standards, including the National Electrical Code (NEC).
Strong analytical and problem-solving skills.
Excellent verbal and written communication skills.
Ability to work in a fast-paced, collaborative environment and manage multiple projects simultaneously.
Preferred Skills:
Professional Engineer (PE) license or working toward licensure.
LEED accreditation or experience with sustainable design.
Experience with electrical systems for healthcare, education, or data centers.
Familiarity with Building Information Modeling (BIM) tools and processes.
