Canal Sugar is Looking for:

" Design Engineer "

based in Minya as per the below details:

- Job Summary:
Prepare the design drawings for equipment, piping, structure, and new projects as well as modifications/installations as per the project requirements.

- Primary Responsibilities and Duties:
• Prepare the layout drawings and general arrangement drawings for piping works for any new and modification jobs.
• Prepare project drawings, Piping and Instrumentation Drawings (P&IDs), and complete them in 2D and 3d environments using the appropriate software.
• Check all drawings received from suppliers/consultants for comments and releasing for execution, in consultation with department head.
• Coordinate with the Projects Team for various ongoing jobs being done in-house and clarification of queries / provide necessary support as and when required.
• Inform the immediate superior from time to time of any deviations/abnormalities occurring within the area of responsibility and record them in the logbook for reference.
• Maintain a record of As-built drawings for the factory.

- Qualifications/ Competencies:
• Bachelor's degree in mechanical engineering.
• Experience of 4-8 years in the manufacturing field is a must.
• Proficiency with engineering design programs such as (AutoCAD–AVEVA E3D) is a must.
• Prior experience in piping design and/or field experience with piping systems is highly desirable
• Excellent verbal and written communication skills in English.
