Senior Tendering & Estimation Engineer
Description:
• Maintains cost database by entering and backing up data and maintain estimation records for future tender and cost evaluations.
• Understand the project requirements and interprets design or engineering drawings and prepares tender documents, B.O.Q, material lists, and specifications Build and development of BOQ, material lists, budget study, and specifications.
• Handle cost engineering functions involving budget preparation, cost control, forecasting and cost reporting.
• Monitor, evaluate and update project cost data on budgeted amounts.
• Quantity Survey all architectural, structural, Landscape works for the tender package.
• Support cost control as per contractual procedures, objectives and requirements
• Support procurement team if necessary.
• Performs other duties if assigned.
• Study the project’s documents like drawings, specifications, and schedule, review tender documents and contract to be able to follow up on materials required.
• To review vendors and supplier's quotations to determine the best price and delivery date.
• Prepare comparative analysis documents related to specs, price, delivery conditions and mode of transportation.
• Engaged in the preparation & compilation of the necessary documents, information & technical inputs required for the completion of tender documentation.
Location: New Cairo
Qualifications:
• Degree in Engineering (Civil/Arch.) with specialization in Project Management or Cost Control.
• Min 5 - 10 years’ experience in project estimating and pricing landscape projects.
• Technically strong in project cost planning, scheduling and reporting.
• Excellent knowledge in the use of M.S Excel.
• Demonstrate strong interpersonal, communication and presentation skills
• Strong analytical and problem-solving skills
