Today, we deliver hundreds of millions of food orders, grocery items and other products per year, to our customers in nine countries throughout the region with more than 3,000+ employees! Our food delivery business works with over 27,000 brands and almost 50,000 branches, while our q-commerce concept, talabat mart, now delivers groceries to customers in Bahrain, Egypt, Jordan, Kuwait, Oman Qatar, and the UAE in 30 minutes or less!

Our philosophy is to make sure we do what is right for our ecosystem - our customers, our partners, our people, our riders, and the communities in which we operate. Our #techforgood program allows our customers a safe and convenient way to contribute to important causes in their community through donating to local and international charities directly on talabat with a focus on food insecurity in the region. Since its inception in 2020, we have facilitated the donation of well over 1 million meals to those in need, as well as donated over $1.5 million to charity with the help of our partners and customers. talabat is part of Delivery Hero, the global leader in online food delivery and q-commerce.

What’s On Your Plate?

Responsible for ensuring we have the correct inventory at the stores (No OOS or OVS) by analysing the current inventory status and updating the ordering parameters. Daily monitoring of stock movement, running report of daily inventory adjustment.

Reviews invoices and payment requests for proper authorization and expenses coding (i.e. general ledger account, department, product, etc.).

Helps with accruals and prepayments of expenses & prepares month end adjusting journal entries.

Creates historical records by payment voucher & documenting all accounts payable transactions.

Maintains controls over all supporting documents of payments.

Ensures that signatures on invoices and payment requests are in accordance with the company approval matrix.

Reconciles PR Transactions (Compensations, Invoices, Credit notes received from Samsung; 1 Hour repair and incentives.).

Prepares entries related to monthly closing process (Capex, Opex, Payroll,FA and others ).

Performs any other duties related to his job as assigned by the line manager.

Manage, Overseeing and monitoring the daily Non Trade Payable Invoices.

Accept invoices from related parties and apply it into payable system application “seek for approvals if required”.

Ensuring timely payment of vendor invoices, expenses vouchers.

Reconcile Suppliers Payment against Bank Statement on Weekly Bases.

Maintaining accurate recorded of all GL accounts especially Accruals & Prepayments.

Reconcile the VAT account on monthly bases & WHT tax on quarterly  bases against the AP Accounts & Subledger.

Clear the Non trade Supplier Accounts against related Payments.

Reconcile the Payrol account against the bank on Monthly Bases.

Prepare Balance sheet reconciliation on quarterly Bases.

Prepare over all monthly Cash Estimation by consolidating the Non trade Liabilities & the Trade Liabilities.

Ensure Proper Allocation for Rebates & NMR on Monthly bases.

Reconcil GRIR account.

Reconile the GL balances with Various Moules (AP, AR, F. Assets).

Provide guidence & clarification to junior memebers.

Manage, Overseeing and monitoring the daily Non Trade Payable Invoices.
