Contracts Engineer
Requirements:
· Bachelor’s Degree from a reputable university.
· 3-5 Years of relevant experience.
· Working knowledge of Fidic , Adminstartive Law Contracts and other international standards.
· Very good command of the English and Arabic Language.
Duties and Responsibilities:
I. Tendering Stage:
· Review the Instructions to Tenderes and Conditions of Contract and issue queries to the Engineer/Employer.
· Review notices and addenda.
· Review the Insurance policy requirements and request quotation from the insurance company.
· Prepare prequalification and tender documents for the subcontractors.
· Prepare evaluation reports to select the subcontractors.
· Prepare subcontractors Contract documents.
· Prepare or review joint venture and consortium agreements (if applicable).
II. Contract Aminstration and Claims during Construction:
· Administrate the Contract during the construction and the defect liability period.
· Assure Company compliance with project’s Conditions of Contract.
· Prepare all contractual letters.
· Prepare Variation orders request / Contractual section.
· Prepare Notifications and particulars of claims.
· Review proposed Contracts Addenda.
· Ensure renewing the project bonds and insurance policies on time.
· Prepare project warranties.
· Follow up on the implementation of the close-out procedures.
III. Sub-Contacts Management Services:
· Prepare all contractual letters.
· Review all variations.
· Review and prepare determinations of all the Counter -claims.
· Review the submitted warranties.
· Assure the subcontractors compliance with the project’s Conditions of Contract.
