Chief Accountant - ABEC

The candidate will have primary day-to-day responsibility for planning, implementing, managing and controlling all Accounting activities of the company.
This will include direct responsibility for ABEC’s daily accounting tasks.
ABEC is looking to hire Chief Accountant with the details below:
Duties:
- Support restructuring activities of the accounting department
- Monitor financial transactions according to company policies and regulations
- Support in new charts of accounts for the company
- Support the development of new accounting policies
- Oversee accounting and general ledger functions, ensuring that systems are in place to ensure timely, complete, and accurate financial data and reporting.
- Participate in the digital transformation efforts to a new ERP system
- Prepare Posts and general ledger journal entries
- Prepare Month-End closing cash flow and bank reconciliation reports
- Preparing accounts and tax returns
- Follow up / Manage account payable and receivables
- Preparing Collections Reports
- Maintain and record fixed Assets
- Preparing Cost allocation Reports with 2 Segments
- Assist In preparing the Projects/ Company budget
Requirements:
- Bachelor's or Master’s degree in Accounting preferred English study
- Leadership, strong presentation skills and drive with a positive attitude
- Min. 5 years’ experience in Accounting
- Great knowledge in Cost allocation.
- Familiar with budget and its Methodologies
- Previous background in Construction industry is a must
- Excellent knowledge of Google Slides & Sheets (or PowerPoint & Excel)
- Excellent English communication skills
- Familiarity with ERP Systems
