Some of the duties/responsibilities:
•Perform monitoring and ensure the timely and accurate processing of payments to suppliers and service providers
•Prepare and enter accounting journals (from source documents) for assigned projects into the financial information system
•Perform monitoring and ensure the accurate allocation of costs to each activity to ensure timely and accurate accounting of payables
• Implement the payment process by receiving and registering suppliers’ invoices, verifying against contract agreements and terms of payment and liaise with Cash Management for the timely execution of payments
• Perform reconciliation and rectification of discrepancies in the payment transactions
• Control the accounting of petty cash payments for MARAKEZ and subsidiaries
• Manage A/P Administrator(s) as needed
Requirements:
• 2-3 years of AP experience
• Bachelor degree in accounting
• Experience in accounting within real estate or related industry is preferred
• CMA is a plus
