Job Description

We are looking for a Contract_Manager
Duties
1. Contract Negotiation & Drafting
Oversee contract negotiations with clients, subcontractors, and suppliers for international engineering projects, ensuring alignment with project objectives and compliance with international laws (e.g., FIDIC, NEC).
2. Risk Management
Identify and mitigate contractual risks, including scope changes, delays, and disputes, while maintaining compliance with global standards and client requirements.
3. Contract Execution & Compliance
Monitor contract execution, track deliverables, and ensure adherence to timelines, budgets, and quality standards across multicultural teams and jurisdictions.
4. Dispute Resolution
Lead resolution of contract-related conflicts through negotiation, mediation, or arbitration, minimizing financial and reputational impacts.
5. Stakeholder Coordination
Collaborate with legal, finance, and project teams to align contract terms with project strategies and facilitate cross-border communication.
6. Documentation & Reporting
Maintain accurate contract records, prepare progress reports, and advise stakeholders on contractual obligations and performance metrics.
Qualification
1. Educational Background
- Bachelor’s degree in Civil Engineering, Construction Management, Law, or - Business Administration (Master’s degree preferred).
- Professional certifications such as CIOB, RICS, PMP, or MRICS are highly desirable.
2. Professional Experience
- Minimum 8–10 years of experience in contract management, procurement, or legal advisory roles within large-scale engineering, infrastructure, or construction projects.
- Proven track record in managing FIDIC contracts, including drafting, negotiation, and dispute resolution.
- Familiarity with EPC (Engineering-Procurement-Construction) project frameworks.
3. Core Competencies
- Contract Administration: Expertise in risk assessment, compliance -monitoring, and ensuring adherence to contractual obligations.
- Negotiation & Communication: Strong ability to liaise with stakeholders (clients, contractors, legal teams) and resolve conflicts diplomatically.
- Analytical Skills: Proficiency in interpreting technical documents, financial reports, and legal clauses.
Regulatory Knowledge: Understanding local/international construction laws, health/safety standards (e.g., ISO 45001), and sustainability requirements.
4. Technical Proficiency
Advanced skills in MS Office Suite (Excel, Word, PowerPoint).
Experience with BIM (Building Information Modeling) workflows.
5. Soft Skills & Additional Requirements
Leadership qualities to mentor junior staff and lead cross-functional teams.
Fluency in English (written and spoken);.
Willingness to travel to project sites or regional offices as needed.
Preferred Attributes:
Experience in international projects or multicultural environments.
