SETS International is looking for Project Urban Planner to join our team.
Position : Project Urban Planner 
Location : Giza-Egypt
Type : Full Time 

Job Requirements & Responsibilities: 
The Project Urban Planner incumbent is expected to:
-Support in developing design schemes, conducting studies and preparing reports on planning or design projects
-Support in conducting data collection and field surveys in collaboration with local teams
-Contribute to the development of key findings for validation with clients and authorities
-Review planning and design studies including land-use planning, building regulations and guidelines, urban heritage studies, and urban renewal projects
-Support in the review of road networks and infrastructure plans, as well as public transport and rail plans 
-Support in the assessment of strategic planning options and conduct comparative SWOT analysis 
-Prepare presentations and participate in client’s meetings, as needed
-Stay informed on emerging urban planning trends, policies and technologies and share knowledge with the team in due course `
-Develop and maintain relevant databases
-Support in additional ad-hoc tasks

Qualifications:
Experience : Minimum of 4 years of experience in urban planning or related field
Education : Bachelor's degree in Urban Planning, Architecture or related field
Competencies :
-Strong knowledge of principles and theories of urban planning
-Creative and analytical thinking
-Good communication skills
-Research oriented
-Report writing and presentation skills
-Proficiency in both Arabic and English
