Mechanical Modeler

       As a Mechanical Modeler you will contribute to the success of MIMAR through providing assistance throughout the building design process as per MIMAR vision, values and standards for all projects within approved budget & time frame.

Key Responsibilities:

·         Develop, modify, and maintain BIM models for mechanical systems using Autodesk Revit and other BIM software.

·         Coordinate mechanical BIM models with architectural, structural, and other MEP disciplines to eliminate clashes.

·         Ensure all models adhere to project-specific BIM execution plans and company standards.

·         Develop and modify 3D models of mechanical systems using Autodesk Revit and other BIM software.

·         Coordinate with other disciplines (architectural, structural, and MEP) to resolve clashes and ensure smooth integration.

·         Generate detailed drawings, layouts, and schedules for HVAC, plumbing, and fire protection systems.

·         Update models and documentation throughout the project lifecycle.

·         Assist in clash detection and coordination using Navisworks or similar tools.

·         Work closely with mechanical engineers and project teams to incorporate design changes and updates.

·         Provide support in BIM workflows and best practices to enhance project efficiency.

·         Stay updated on the latest BIM software, tools, and industry trends.

Qualifications:

· Diploma or Bachelor's degree in Mechanical Engineering or a related field.

·         Minimum of 5 years of experience as a BIM Modeler, focusing on mechanical systems.

·         Experience with Gulf projects.

·         Proficiency in Autodesk Revit (Mechanical), AutoCAD, and Navisworks.

·         Strong understanding of HVAC, plumbing, and fire protection systems.

·         Strong understanding of mechanical systems, including HVAC, plumbing, and fire protection.

·         Experience in clash detection and coordination.

·         Knowledge of mechanical codes, standards, and regulations.

·         Strong attention to detail and accuracy.

·         Ability to manage tasks in a deadline-driven environment.

      Work Environment:

• Days off: Friday & Saturday
