Engines Mechanical Engineer (Overhaul
and Rebuilds 

Objective of the Job:
We are seeking a skilled and experienced Junior
Generator Mechanical Engineer to join our team. and
assist with the overhaul,
maintenance, and rebuild of mechanical systems within
generators. The ideal candidate will support senior
engineers in diagnosing mechanical issues,
disassembling, repairing and reassembling generators to
ensure their efficient and reliable performance,

Duties and Responsibilities:
• Assist in the disassembly and inspiration of generator
components to identify wear, damage, or failure
• Perform diagnostic testing on mechanical systems
including bearings, rotors, stators and engine blocks,
. Help in the overhaul and rebuild of generators, replacing
worn-out components, repairing damaged parts, and
reassembling the equipment according to manufacturer
specifications.
• Support in troubleshooting mechanical issues and
finding solutions to ensure the generators operate at
optimal levels.
• Maintain and use mechanical tools and diagnostic
equipment to ensure high-quality repair work
• Collaborate with senior engineers and technicians to
gain technical knowledge and improve skills.
Documentation keeping detailed records of the work
done, including parts replaced and any adjustments
made to the generator systems.

Required Competencies and Behavior
Experience: From (1 -3) year experience in various
generator types
(diesel and gas engine)
Bachelor's degree in mechanical engineering
• Basic knowledge of generator mechanical systems and Familiarity with diagnostic tools and repair techniques
for generator systems
• Strong problem-solving skills and attention to detail
• Ability to work independently and as part of a team
• Willingness to learn and develop expertise in generator overhauls and rebuilds.
• Prior experience in mechanical repair or overhaul
