Giza Integrated Solutions, a construction subsidiary of Giza Cables Industries, located in Giza, is looking for a: Senior Logistics Supervisor

Job Duties and Responsibilities:
 
- Negotiate with carriers to reduce shipping costs through effective contracts.
- Monitor and analyze shipping reports to optimize freight scheduling.
- Review shipping notices, bills of lading, and other records to determine priorities and work assignments.
- Assess space requirements and strategically position shipments in trucks.
- Oversee the receiving process, including inspection, shortage recording, and load approvals per ISO standards.
- Direct the unloading and storage of incoming freight at designated locations.
- Manage steel shipment processes, including packaging, labeling, and compliance with customer specifications.
- Supervise finished goods shipments, including packaging, outsourcing, loading, and document approvals.
- Prepare shipping documents for both domestic and international shipments.
- Schedule maintenance for company-owned vehicles.
- Ensure inventory accuracy through cycle counts and physical inventory checks.
- Train and evaluate department employees, recommending pay adjustments and disciplinary actions as needed.
- Support continuous process improvement initiatives.
- Perform other related duties as assigned.

Knowledge & Experience:

 - Bachelor’s degree in any field.
 - From 3 to 5 years of experience in Logistics, prefer construction field.
 - verbal and written communication skills
- Strong time management skills with the ability to multitask
- Proven leadership in team discussions and operational meetings.
- Ability to collaborate proactively with colleagues, customers, and external partners.
- Strong attention to detail, organization, and accuracy.
- Knowledge of quality standards, methods, and reporting requirements.
- Proficiency in Microsoft Excel, Word, and Outlook.
- Ability to read and interpret various shipping and logistics documents effectively.
