Organi Group is looking for the following position to join us.

 Purchasing Manager
 
Job Description:

1. Develop and execute purchasing strategies aligned with the company's overall goals and objectives.
2. Monitor market dynamics, supplier capabilities, and industry trends to identify new potential suppliers and optimize the supply base.
3. Develop and implement cost-saving initiatives, value engineering projects, and alternative sourcing strategies.
4. Develop and manage purchasing budgets, cost control, and cost-saving initiatives.
5. Monitor and report on purchasing expenses, ensuring adherence to budgets and cost efficiency.
6. Forecast price and market trends to identify changes of balance in buyer-supplier power
7. Monitor and forecast upcoming levels of demand
8. Establish and maintain strategic relationships with suppliers, negotiating contracts, and ensuring reliable sources of goods and services.
9. Collaborate with internal departments to understand their procurement needs and strategic objectives.
10. Establish and maintain strong relationships with suppliers based on quality, reliability, and cost-effectiveness.
11. Ensure timely delivery of goods and services to meet project deadlines and internal stakeholder expectations.
12. Collaborate with executive management to define procurement priorities and ensure alignment with business needs
13. Lead and oversee the end-to-end purchasing process, from supplier selection to contract management.
14. Manage best practices in purchasing, including supplier evaluation and performance monitoring.
15. Streamline purchasing processes to improve efficiency, reduce lead times, and enhance supply chain reliability.
16. Accept payments, ensuring all prices and quantities are accurate, and provide a receipt to every customer
17. Stay updated on purchasing industry trends, regulations, and emerging technologies.
18. Guide, direct, and train the team in achieving department goals efficiently and effectively
19. Conduct performance appraisal and set annual objectives for the team in line with the department's business plan.

Job Requirements:
- Bachelor's degree in Business Administration, Supply Chain Management, or related field
- 10 - 12 years of experience 
- Proven experience in purchasing roles, preferably within the construction industry.
- Strong negotiation and contract management skills.
- Excellent communication, interpersonal, and leadership abilities.
- Ability to analyze data and make strategic decisions to optimize procurement processes.
