Senior Electrical Design Engineer Dry Utilities & Infrastructure

Responsibilities: 
Implements specific Electrical engineering works in accordance with the work program of a project or as requested within his department.
Organizes and supervises the work of engineers and draftsmen allocated to him and provides relevant support and/or advice to project teams as applicable.
Responsible for efficient and effective design of Electrical engineering works, preparation of drawings, contract documents, etc.
Verifies that all designs, drawings and documents are to current codes and standards and in accordance with Company policies and manuals.
Liaises as directed with consulting engineers, and/or contractors on all matters necessary for the implementation of the work program of the project.
Undertakes special and/or project assignments as required by the Electrical Department Manager or his responsible Principal Electrical Engineer, as applicable.

Qualifications: 
Strong infrastructure engineering background with previous experience on infrastructure projects Understanding of the requirements for distributor and feeder pillars, MV, LV networks.
Knowledge of Electrical design standards and codes.
Experience of Telecommunication infrastructure Network Design including ducts, manholes.
Design of Street Lighting for all type of roads, ROW, Lighting Calculations, SLDs, Load schedules, landscape lighting branch wiring etc.
Full understanding of dry utilities and infrastructure projects from Concept to IFC stage.
Understanding from Concept master plan stage to Detailed Master Plan in terms of utility corridor space proofing, Right of Way, coordination with other discipline such as wet utilities, roads, transportation, landscape etc.
Experience of carrying out calculations for all dry utility's networks.
Proficiency in Civil 3D, Infra-works.
Microsoft office Knowledge of procedure and terminology for designing; writing specifications; and performing construction support, design review, and project management.
Excellent Skills: Cad, Excel, MS project & word, Dailux Evo, ETAP, ECODIAL and Revit MEP.
6 to 9 Years of Experience in Electrical Design, preferably with Consultancy.
Prefer with 1‐3 years of experience in BIM detailing work.
Able to work with minimal supervision.
Ability to motivate staff through proper direction and counseling.
Ability to transfer knowledge to others in the design and preparation of drawings, specifications and estimates to use in the course of design.
