Junior Low Current Engineer

We are seeking a skilled and detail-oriented junior BIM Low Current Engineer to join our dynamic team. In this role, you will be responsible for creating Revit models from 2D drawings, advancing models from LOD 200 to LOD 500, ensuring precise coordination, and preparing construction documents 

Key Responsibilities:

Create BIM models for BMS, Public Address, fire alarm, communication, security, and other low current systems from client-provided 2D drawings. 

Develop Revit Models Further from LOD 200 up to LOD 400 for Electrical and Low Current systems. 

Create LOD 500 As-Built Models. 

Preparing and managing shop drawings, schedules, and quantities derived from BIM models. 

Ensure compliance with relevant standards such as NEC (National Electrical Code), IEC (International Electrotechnical Commission), NFPA (National Fire Protection Association), and local electrical codes. 

Qualifications 

Essential: 

Bachelor’s degree in Electrical Power Engineering. 

3-5 Years of Experience. 

Experience in Shop Drawings Generated from Revit Models. 

Awareness of BIM Workflows and Good knowledge working with BIM Execution Plans. 

Proficiency in Revit, Navisworks and Autocad software. 

Very good command of the English language, both written and spoken. 

Preferred: 

Familiarity with Dynamo, Python, or other scripting tools for BIM automation. 

Knowledge of international BIM standards like ISO 19650 and BS1192. 

Familiarity with Scan to BIM workflows.
