Join Our Team as Planning Team Leader
Location: 6th of October
Project: JV Orascom Construction and Rowad Modern Engineering - High-Speed Rail Project Main Depot
Your Mission:
As the Planning Team Leader, you’ll be at the heart of one of the most exciting construction projects. Your key responsibilities will include:
1-Mastering the Project Documents: Dive deep into contracts, specifications, and the full project scope, ensuring you’re always aligned with the project’s requirements and conditions.
2-Seamless Handover: Lead the formal handover from Proposals and Estimating teams, ensuring a smooth transition that aligns with corporate standards.
3-Establish Control Procedures: Set up robust project control procedures and identify the resources needed to implement them. Your oversight will be key to project success.
4-Creating the WBS: Collaborate with the Project Manager and Client to develop a well-defined Work Breakdown Structure (WBS) to keep everything organized and on track.
5-Reporting Like a Pro: Define the scope, level, and frequency of progress reports, ensuring key stakeholders are always in the loop.
6-Setting Baselines and Tracking Progress: Establish cost and schedule baselines, and ensure mechanisms are in place to keep the project on track at every phase.
7-Managing Project Health: Regularly assess project status and recommend corrective actions to stay aligned with the schedule and budget.
8-Ensuring Compliance: Make sure all project documentation, reports, and updates are compliant with our established procedures.
9-Leading the PDC Group: Guide the Project Document Control (PDC) group to ensure productivity and technical excellence.
10-Collaborating Across Departments: Communicate with different teams to ensure time and cost plans are always up-to-date with the latest information.
What We’re Looking For:
Educational Background: 
1-Bachelor’s degree in Civil Engineering or Architecture.
2-minimum of 8-10 years of experience in the construction industry, with a strong preference for candidates who have worked on railway or transportation projects. 
Skills:
1-Primavera Proficiency: In-depth knowledge and exceptional proficiency in Primavera is a critical requirement for efficient project management and scheduling.
2-Project Management: Ability to develop and manage project plans, schedules, and resources effectively.
3-Analytical Skills: Strong ability to analyze project performance and recommend corrective actions as needed.
4-Communication: Excellent communication skills for reporting, collaborating with cross-functional teams, and maintaining stakeholder relationships.
5-Problem-Solving: Proactive approach to identifying and resolving issues in project execution.
