Job Title: Construction Technical Engineer (office-based)
Job Requirements:
1) Bachelor's degree in civil engineering (steel structure graduation project is preferred).
2) 4-6 years min. experience in steel structure design and detailing.
3) Experience in steel members and connections design.
4) Experience in Construction Staged Analysis is a plus.
5) Expert user with Design and detailing programs (SAP2000, ETABS, Staad, IDEA STATICA, ANSYS, RAM Conn, Limcon, TEKLA...etc)
6) Good Communication skills.
7) Fluent English.
Job Responsibilities:
1) Study project documents (drawings, design reports and 3D models) from a construction point of view.
2) Prepare Erection Method statement for steel structures.
3) Perform construction staged analysis by one of design software.
4) Design temporary steel items (props, temporary connections, lifting lugs…etc.).
5) Check the connections design and the 3D models for erection feasibility of steel assemblies.
6) Prepare lifting plans for steel elements, including design checks for lifting, and determine the required cranes.
7) Coordinate with different parties (project, engineering, fabrication, planning and construction).
Location: Egypt- Cairo, Nasr City
