Lead Structural Engineer

Qualifications:

Bachelor of Science Degree in Civil Engineering and member of professional body/bodies in Egypt and/or elsewhere.

experience in high-rise buildings and coordination on large-scale projects involving multiple stakeholders

A minimum of 10 years progressive experience in structural engineering, design and construction contracts, with some supervisory experience.  Master degree in Civil (is preferable).

Job description:

    Reports to Project Manager for implementing specific structural works in accordance with the work program of the project.
    Organizes and manages the work of engineers and draftsmen allocated to him and provides structural engineering support and/or advice to project teams as required by the Project Manager.
    Verifies that all structural analysis, designs, drawings and documents are to current codes and standards and in accordance with ECG policies and standards.
    Liaises as directed with consulting engineers, architects and other disciplines or contractors on all matters necessary for the implementation of the work program of the project.
    Undertakes special and/or project assignments as required by the Structural Department Manager.
    Keeps Department Manager aware about all technical and administrative matters concerning running projects.
    Responsible for the coordination between all disciplines.
