General Ledger Accountant
 Job_Description:
 • Maintains accounting ledgers by verifying and posting account transactions.
 • Prepare and schedule pay cheques, and ensure payment is received.
 • Reconcile processed work by verifying entries and comparing system reports to balance.
 • Perform day-to-day financial transactions including verifying, classifying, comparing, posting and recording all kinds of accounts.
 • Perform other duties as assigned.
 • Complies and analyzes financial information to prepare entries to accounts such as general ledger accounts, documenting business transactions.
 • Install, modify documents, and coordinate the implementation of the accounting system and accounting control procedures.
 • Responsible for monthly analysis of AP, the supplier’s down payments, petty cash notes payable, and prepaid expenses.
 • Responsible for issuing checks on the due date.
 • Prepares checks, accounts statements, reports, and other records and reviews for accuracy.
 • Responsible for cost center allocation
 • Responsible for transferring accounts payable and general ledger module.
 
 Job Requirements
 • Bachelor's degree in commerce – Major accounting.
 • Experience needed 3-5 years in a similar field. (Construction)
 • Computer skills in MS Office.
Solid understanding of basic accounting principles.
Familiar with ERP System
