HVAC SENIOR DESIGN ENGINEER

​Key Duties and Responsibilities:

    Implements specific HVAC works in accordance with the work program of a project or as requested within his department.

    Prepares and assists with the preparation of technical reports, schemes, bills of quantities, cost estimates, and concept reports.

    Carries out designs of HVAC works, drawings, etc., as required.

    Undertakes special and/or project assignments as required by the Project Engineer.

    Familiarity with major international standards relevant to mechanical design such as ASHRAE, SMACNA, ASPE, NFPA, NP, etc.

    Experience in performing HVAC load calculations using HAP software.

    Proficiency in selecting main mechanical equipment including AHUs, FCUs, split systems, fans, pumps, chilled water accessories, etc.

Qualifications & Technical Skills:

    +10 years of design experience in recognized Engineering Consultants

    Knowledge of and ability to use personal computers and related software, including CAD tools, REVIT & HAP program, and Word Processing Software.

    Interpersonal skills and the ability to work professionally with persons at all levels.

    Able to follow up on the technical information.

    Ability to follow oral and written instructions and directives.

    Able to work under pressure.

    Knowledge of modern construction techniques and high tech. materials.

    Capable of defining and meeting realistic timelines.

    Communication skills and self-motivation.

    Continuous self-development and research.

    Good English oral and written communication skills.
