Senior GL Accountant

About Us:
We are hiring a "Senior GL Accountant" to join us and be part of BEAM Consolidated, which is revolutionising the industry with its exceptional building materials such as Gypsum Powder-Board, Cement Board, PVC, Coating, and Lightweight panel products.

*Job Responsibilities:

1- Manage journal entries and ensure proper general ledger coding in support of monthly closings.
2- Record information such as accrual, deferral, and interdepartmental entries into the company’s accounting ledger.
3- Prepare, review, and post monthly journal entries and account reconciliations to the general ledger.
4- Assist with monthly and yearly closing processes, including financial analysis and financial reporting.
5- Assist in the development and maintenance of an accounting system that records and reports all financial transactions per generally accepted accounting principles (GAAP).
6- Prepare, monitor, and interpret monthly financial reports and analyses for the Head of Finance. This includes but is not limited to revenue and expense statements, balance sheets, and year-to-date financial statement summaries.
7- Provide backup coverage for Accounts Payable and Accounts Receivable functions.
8- Handle fixed assets transactions, maintain the fixed assets register, and run monthly depreciation.

*Qualifications:
- Bachelor’s degree in Accounting, Finance, or a relevant field.
3 to 5 years of proven experience in Accounts Receivables, ideally in a similar industry.
- knowledge of MS Office and ERP systems.
- Excellent command of the English language.
- CMA or CPA certification is highly recommended.

*Skills & Abilities:
- Familiarity with financial accounting statements.
- Solid understanding of basic bookkeeping and accounting principles.
- In-depth product knowledge and commercial awareness paired with a strategic mindset.
- Strong knowledge of performance reporting and financial/budgeting processes.
