We are hiring "Senior Foreign Purchase and Logistics “

Job Description:
• Sourcing and Procurement:
o Identify and develop relationships with qualified international vendors for various materials, products, or equipment.
o Research and compare quotes from international suppliers to secure the best value and terms.
o Strong knowledge of the payment terms and L/C regulations.
o Negotiate pricing, contracts, and delivery schedules with international vendors.
o Manage the foreign purchasing process, ensuring compliance with company policies and regulations.
• Logistics and Shipping:
o Develop and implement efficient international shipping plans, considering cost, lead times, and customs regulations.
o Coordinate with freight forwarders, customs brokers, and other logistics providers to ensure smooth transportation of goods.
o Manage import/export documentation and ensure compliance with international trade and Egyptian customs regulations.
o Ensure compliance with all relevant import/export regulations, trade agreements, and customs requirements to mitigate legal and financial risks.
o Strong knowledge of HS code and goods classification with their attributes according to the customs tariff.
o Track shipments in real-time and proactively address any delays or issues.
• Inventory Management:
o Work with internal stakeholders to forecast demand and optimize inventory levels for imported goods.
o Implement strategies to minimize inventory carrying costs and ensure stock availability.
• Cost Control and Analysis:
o Continuously monitor and analyze foreign purchasing and logistics costs to identify opportunities for optimization.
o Develop and implement cost-saving strategies in sourcing, shipping, and customs clearance.
o Stay up-to-date on international trade and Egyptian customs regulations, shipping trends, and best practices in foreign purchasing and logistics.
Qualifications:
• Bachelor's degree in Business Administration, International Trade, Supply Chain Management, or a related field (preferred).
• Minimum of 5 years of experience in foreign purchasing and logistics.
• Proven experience with HS code, customs tariff, and goods classifications.
• Proven experience in sourcing, negotiating, and managing contracts with international vendors.
• Previous experience in the mechanical equipment.
• Strong understanding of international trade regulations (e.g., Incoterms, customs procedures).
• Experience with international shipping and logistics operations (e.g., freight forwarding, customs clearance).
• Fluency in English
