Saudi Firmness is looking for:

Civil Tendering Engineer:-
Location: Cairo-Egypt

➢ Job Summary:
The Civil Tendering Engineer will be responsible for studying all tender documents, and preparing the commercial and technical proposal to submit the tender job successfully and hopefully award the project. Also, he will be responsible for preparing and monitoring the project budget in case of awarding.

➢ Essential Duties and Responsibilities:-
· Review tender documents - specs, drawings, and Bill of Quantities, and ensure that clarifications are raised well in time to get better clarity on bid submission. Apply modifications including reflections on pricing based on the client’s responses.
·Attend meetings with the project owner or consultant to obtain an overview of the project.
· Prepare project quantities through quantity surveying if it is not available in the client documents.
·Divide the project into packages, create a Request for Quotation “RFQ”, and coordinate with the procurement team to contact suppliers and subcontractors to obtain price offers.
· Conduct comparison studies for supplier's and subcontractor's quotations after evaluating supplier's offers and checking compliance with tender requirements.
· Develop breakdown cost estimation in response to the client’s Bill of Quantities “BOQ” and the client’s specific requirements.
· Create commercial and technical proposals to ensure prompt and accurate compliance with the client’s requirements.
· Prepare handover for the project along with the project budget to be submitted and shared with the operations team.
· Monitor the project budget to ensure that all the project items are finished within the budget.

➢ Knowledge, Skills, and Abilities:-
Technical skills:
· Excellent proficiency in MS Office (Excel, Outlook, and Word).
· Good user of AutoCAD 2D.
· Good user for Primavera P6.
· Technical abilities & Familiarity with reading plans and drawings.

Personal skills:
· Strong interpersonal and communication skills.
· Willingness to learn.
· Excellent Command of written English language and very good command of spoken English Language.
· Organizational and prioritization skills.

➢ Education and Experience:-
· Bachelor’s degree in civil engineering
· Professional years of experience, Minimum: 1 - Maximum: 4
· Past Experience as a site engineer is an advantage.
· Past experience in Saudi Arabia or Gulf projects is an advantage.
