Accountant - Restaurants
Responsibilities:
• Financial: Build and manage tailored accounting systems, handle daily financial tasks, and ensure accuracy in all records.
• Experienced in establishing companies and restaurants.
• Budgeting & Forecasting: Partner with management to create accurate budgets, track performance, and recommend cost-saving or revenue-boosting strategies.
• Reporting & Compliance: Craft clear financial reports, deliver tailored insights on KPIs, and ensure impeccable adherence to all tax regulations.
• Inventory & Cost Control: Implement strong inventory systems, analyze food & beverage costs, and partner with suppliers to control expenses and optimize stock levels.
Qualifications:
• Bachelor's degree in Accounting, Finance, or a related field.
• Minimum of 3 years of proven experience in accounting, preferably within the food service industry, demonstrating a strong understanding of restaurant-specific accounting principles and practices.
• Proficiency in accounting software applications and advanced knowledge of MS Excel for financial analysis and reporting.
• Deep understanding of inventory management, cost control, and financial analysis techniques, with the ability to translate complex data into actionable insights.
• Exceptional attention to detail, analytical skills, and the ability to thrive in a fast-paced and demanding environment with multiple priorities.
• Strong communication and interpersonal skills, fostering effective collaboration with diverse stakeholders, including restaurant managers, vendors, financial teams, and external auditors.
