We are hiring a Chief Accountant Located in Nubariya city, Egypt

The Position:
Chief Accountant

Job Summary:
A group of Industrial companies is currently looking for an experienced Chief Accountant to join their Accounting Function. Working as a Chief Accountant, you will be responsible for the reviewing and posting of Journal entries, account analysis and reconciliations, financial statement preparation and consolidation, cash flow analysis, budgets and forecasting, audit preparation, and internal control maintenance and regulatory reporting.

The ideal candidate will have full exposure to monthly closing processes, forecasting and budgeting, and customer billing, and also manage the major reporting and reconciliation duties of the group.

Duties/Responsibilities:
Reviewing financial statements and reporting on any errors or anomalies in accounting methodology
Reviewing & validating all Manual invoices to ensure proper accounting and allocation of costs.
Reviewing petty cash requests supporting documents
Reviewing & approving the cash & bank accounts.
Facilitate and complete monthly close procedures
Establishing and maintaining effective working relationships with external auditors, regulators, and other stakeholders.
Preparing financial statements for external reporting purposes such as tax returns, regulatory filings, and stock offerings
Monitoring cash flow to ensure that bills are paid on time and that there is enough money available to cover upcoming expenses.
Reviewing financial records, contracts, and other documentation to determine the accuracy and completeness of data
Identifying issues with accounting processes or procedures that could lead to future errors or misinterpretations of data
Assist with analyzing financial statements on a monthly basis and report on variances.
Perform other Finance department projects, as assigned.
Supervise Accountants and assist CFO, in his absence.

Required Skills/Abilities:
Proficiency in the English language.
Excellent verbal and written communication skills.
Extremely organized and detail-oriented.
Strong knowledge of tax laws.
Strong financial analysis skills.
Strong organizational and stress management skills.
Proficiency in Microsoft Office, particularly Excel.

Education and Experience:
Bachelor's degree in accounting or finance is required.
Professional qualification such as CMA/CPA/CFA or similar will be considered a plus.
Minimum 12 years of accounting experience.
ODOO ERP is a plus
Working Time: 5 days a week from 8:00 AM till 5:00 PM (Friday and Saturday off).
Transportation is available from Alexandria only.
