Position: Structural Design Engineer
Location: Sheraton Almatar

Responsibilities:

Establishing the primary structural system of a building or other structure.
Structural elements design to conform with both safety and serviceability limits.
Coordinate with different disciplines to avoid conflicts and ensure meeting the structure’s functionality.
Create detailed structural drawings for schematic, tender, and construction stages of the project.
Review the outcome of juniors and engineers.
Attend meetings and negotiate with other concerned parties to meet project goals.
Being up to date with the state-of-the-art practices and guide lines on structural engineering.

Job Requirements:

BSc. Degree in civil engineering from reputable University, MSc. is a plus.
Start from 7 Years of professional experience.
Excellent knowledge of international codes and standards (ACI, SBC, ASCE, BS, Eurocode, …etc.).
Excellent command of Revit and Autocad.
Excellent command of analysis programs (SAP200, SAFE, ETABS, Prokon, ….etc.).
Hard worker, and able to work under pressure.
Time management to deliver projects on agreed duration
