ARCHITECTURAL ENGINEERING AFFAIRS SECTION HEAD

Job Scope:
-Review Technical project documents( CAD Drawings, 3D BIM Models, Specifications and BOQ) with respect to: completeness, coordination/clashes, technical quality, clarity, discrepancy among different project documents.
-Review project documents to ensure compliance with company standards, standard details, applicable codes, concerned authorities' regulations and statutory requirements. -Highlight & propose solutions for associated technical problems, clashes, and discrepancies
in coordination with the designer. -Solve and respond timely to all design-related issues/RFIs that may arise during construction
phase in coordination with the project team (designer, supervision consultant, PM, etc.). -Develop and keep updating standard technical specifications and typical details. -In coordination with different stakeholders, capture design-related lessons learned or best practices that need to be adopted in future projects including creation of material library, update specifications and standard details, making adjustments for non-practical Design to prevent recurring mistakes, Standardize good practices in design and detailing. -Provide regular and ad hoc internal reports for submission to management. -Participate and lead value studies effectively and efficiently by applying the professional Process for value engineering methodology, established by SAVE International.
Technical Skills Required:
-8-10 years of experience with proven technical track record working for prestigious fully-finished projects, including at least +5 years' experience creating & reviewing BIM 3D models using REVIT, & NAVISWORKS. -Full awareness with local codes, concerned authorities' regulations and statutory
requirements. -Excellent experience in BIM workflows.
-Excellent interdisciplinary coordination skills and review capabilities. -Demonstrated high level of knowledge of and competency in the application
of the Value Methodology process in the context of a value study on multiple projects and to be able to participate & lead value studies efficiently.
-VMA or CVS Value certificates is preferred. -In-depth knowledge of different finishing materials/vendors and the state-of- the-art alternatives for better project value(performance & cost) with full
awareness of material cost. -Solid Experience using AutoCAD.
