Mechanical Engineer (Plumbing & Fire Fighting) - Raka Design Engineering

Duties & Responsibilities:

1. Responsible for meeting the firm’s mechanical engineering quality levels on assigned projects
2. Assist in identifying and organizing requirements. Apply usability procedures and principles at project or product-line level or through customer input.
3. Conduct and/or participate in technical reviews of requirements, specifications, designs, codes, and other artifacts.
4. Identify and keep abreast of novel technical concepts and markets.
5. Contribute to design standards and support design reuse.
6. Possess thorough knowledge of all codes applicable to his/her discipline
7. Perform assignments requiring application of standard techniques, procedures and criteria to carry out engineering tasks
8. Lead the preparation of deliverables and products such as presentation materials, calculations, drawings, specifications, reports, and cost estimates related to heating, ventilating, and air-conditioning (HVAC), plumbing and fire suppression for commercial, governmental, and institutional facilities
9. Work under supervision of a project manager or senior level team member
10. Design & shop drawings of the HVAC ,plumbing, and fire fighting systems.
11. AutoCAD
12. Revit

 Qualifications:

1. Bachelor Degree in Mechanical Engineering
2. Experience in using or a desire to learn the required software.
3. Proficient in design and calculation software
4. Revit required
