Sinoma CDI is hiring Electrical Engineer for head office in Fifth settlement.
About the job:
1. Study project tender documents, specifications, drawings, BOQs and find a solution of suitable design preparation time, within offers 2. preparation time frame except case of need to site survey, in case of issue happened will inform by email. .
3. Prepare shop drawings and as-built drawings, and ensure documentation and records in use are reviewed, approved by the consultant.
4. Preparing and sending all technical proposals, quotations and offers to meet company and potential client expectations.
5. Follow the bidding and technical offer preparation process and 6. Follow up with client through many actions like phone, email or chat during tender preparation process or offers evaluation, coordinating clarifications, negotiations and responses till issue is solved and achieve client or consultant requirements. (client - consultant).
6. Study projects Preparing of pre qualification documents and detailed reviewing of tender booklets, bid specifications or inquiry documents to understand client`s requirements and identifying project scope.
7. Handling and designing through standards (codes or catalogs) in multiple projects.
8. Liaise and supervise the electrical team in technical office and site.
Prepare queries’ list to be sent to client for the missing, contradicting and confusing issues related to the tender.
9. Participate in site surveys to identify any technical requirements.
10. Prepare plans, details, and cost estimates (BOQ) of electrical works.
10. Contact suppliers and subcontractors for technical and financial offers.
11. Compare Suppliers and subcontractors’ different offers.
12.Negotiate the technical and financial issues of the offers received from suppliers, manufacturers and subcontractors.
13. Preparing technical & commercial offers according to company standards.
14. Update suppliers and subcontractors’ vendor list on monthly basis.
Minimum requirements:
1. Tendering & Rev-it and Auto-CAD experience is a must.
2. 4-7 years of experience in contracting & construction field.
3. Leadership and flexibility skills.
4. Flexibility to work in project site or in head office.
