Accounting Manager - talabat 

Role Summary

We’re looking for an Accounting Manager to join the team and focus on growing our own Grocery Store “Talabat Mart”, which is the region’s first cloud store concept offering 30-minute delivery of groceries at hypermarket prices. Launched in Kuwait and UAE, the service is expanding fast to more countries.

What’s On Your Plate?

• Supervising accounting, consolidation and closing activities related to accounts payable and inventory accounts to ensure accuracy of accounts
• Monthly closing of the books with its related tasks
• Preparation of Statutory Financial Statements, with auditors
• Performing financial reporting for accounts payable and inventory accounts to communicate financial position and results
• Supervising inventory valuations and production of inventory performance reports to control assets
• Supervising review of supplier invoices and processing of payment requests; monitoring payment processing system to ensure conformity to agreed terms of purchase and delivered quantities
• Supervising costing of products and items originating from suppliers
• Provide coaching and development opportunities to finance team to promote continuous development
