Title: Planning and Cost Control Engineer
Work Experience: 3 to 5 years in the construction field.
Location: New Cairo, Egypt.
Job Details:
Experience Needed: 3 to 5 years in the construction field.
Experience with Primavera P6 and MS Project is required.
Career Level: Experienced (Non-Manager)
Education Level: Bachelor’s Degree in Engineering
Salary: Negotiable.
Job Qualifications:
Prepare a realistic project schedule using the appropriate tools, such as Primavera and MS Projects.
Calculate optimal material and manpower requirements for each stage of the project.
Coordinate with the project manager and different departments to ensure good execution of the plan.
Plan the project's budget and keep track of expenses as the project progresses.
Create cash flow forecasts for each project.
Coordinate with the different stakeholders to ensure efficient execution of the project.
Collect periodic updates and prepare daily, weekly, and monthly updates on the project.
Create variance reports (Schedule Variance and Cost Variance-usually the Earned Value Method (EMV) is used for this) at various stages of the project to analyze deviations.
Create Project Closing Reports with continuous improvement.
