Mimar Group (Engineering Consultant) We are currently seeking a Junior Tender Engineer with an interior design background to join our Division in Cairo. you will be responsible for preparing and developing detailed fit-out project specifications and B.O.Q.

Preference will be given to a qualified candidate who can demonstrate experience in the following:

•Interprets architectural or engineering drawings and prepares material lists and specifications.
•Writes, edits and coordinates architectural specifications, technical descriptions which specify material qualities and properties,
•Review project drawings and all materials to write specifications of the project and comply with B.O.Q and specs with it.
•Attends bidding negotiations regarding spec and priced B.O.Q and reply all clarifications required in the tender process.
•May draw rough sketches or arrange for finished drawings or photographs to illustrate specified materials or assembly sequence.
•Represents the department and participate in summits related to specification/ materials development.
•Good knowledge of material standards, industrial processes, and manufacturing procedures.
•Searches for methods, materials, and systems to maintain a technical resources library.
•Coordinates, and reviews specification writing by other consultants.
•Prepares cost estimates in the early design stage.
•Quantity Survey for all architectural works.
•Assists the designers to select materials.
•Request pricing from suppliers.

Job Requirements:

•Bachelor’s degree in architecture or interior design with a minimum of 1-3 years of experience for the architectural & interior profession.
•Knowledge of new products and materials application methods.
•Proficient in MS Office (Excel – Word).
•REVIT and CAD software knowledge is preferred.
•Excellent command of the English Language.
•Perfect communication skills

Work Environment:

• Working hours: 8:00 to 17:00
• Days off: Friday & Saturday
• Location: New Cairo
