“BARQ Systems, Egypt is currently hiring a

Senior Procurement Specialist

with the below qualifications:

– BS.C degree in Commerce or equivalent

– Certificate in Procurement is a plus

– 3 – 5 years of experience

– Have a background in Oracle/Procurement.

Job Description:

– Execute purchases per the procurement policy and procedures

– Issue requests for quotes/proposals (RFQ/RFP) and select the best source consistent with cost, quality, and delivery requirements.

– Handle correspondence concerning over-shipments, delivery shortages, changes in quantity, delivery dates, and prices and report such changes to the interested parties in a timely manner as required.

– Act as a link between suppliers and involved departments to resolve procurement-related problems.

– Authorize payment for purchases by reviewing invoices and related documentation.

– Monitor supplier performance by ensuring that product is delivered as scheduled and meets specifications;

– Negotiating prices, quantities, and delivery timescales.

– Monitor vendors’ dues are paid in a timely manner to maintain and enhance the given credit facility”
